 North Central Massachusetts Board of Realtors Honors Tom Ruble4/13/2011
Tom Ruble
of Tom Ruble Real Estate Services, was recently recognized at the the North
Central Massachusetts Association of Realtors, Inc. (NCMAR) annual 2010 Top
Producer Award Night, held at the Colonial Hotel in Gardner on April 4. Tom was
awarded a Platinum Top Producer for 2010, an honor putting him in the top 5% of
the entrants. He has been recognized as a Top Producer for seven consecutive
years.
Additionally,
Mr. Ruble received the prestigious Sales Associate of the Year Award for NCMAR
Region B, which includes realtors from Ashby, Ashburnham, Fitchburg, Princeton
and Westminster. It is awarded to a person who is congenial, enthusiastic,
accessible, ethical, and one who exhibits sound business practices. Tom
commented, "I am especially honored and appreciative to have been nominated and
elected by my peers to receive the Sales Associate of the Year Award.” This is
the second time in the past three years that Mr. Ruble has been so honored.
Tom
Ruble is an active member of NCMAR, where he serves on the Government Affairs
Committee; the Massachusetts Association of Realtors where he serves on the
Forms Committee; and the National Association of Realtors. He currently serves
as president of the Ash-West Rotary Club, and chair of the club’s Scholarship
Fund Golf Tourney. Tom is a long time resident of the Town of Ashburnham where
he owns a home and resides with his wife Marah; and serves as an alternate
member of the Planning Board. Somehow, Tom still finds time to play hockey in
Gardner in the Monday Night Silver Blades and Friday Night Legends of Hockey
leagues.

At
the North Central Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (NCMAR)
Annual Awards Banquet on March 2, 2009, Tom Ruble of Tom Ruble Real
Estate Services was presented with the distinguished Sales Associate of the
Year Award, for Region B, which includes REALTORS® located in Ashby,
Ashburnham, Fitchburg, Princeton, and Westminster. The Sales Associate of the Year
Award is considered to be prestigious because the recipient is nominated and
voted in by his or her peers. It is awarded to a person who is congenial,
enthusiastic, accessible, ethical, and one who exhibits sound business
practices. Additionally, Tom was awarded the Top Producers Award for the fifth consecutive
year.
Tom said, “I am especially honored to have received the
Sales Associate of the Year Award and thank my colleagues for voting for me
from a pool of very capable, professional nominees.”
Mr. Ruble currently serves on NCMAR’s Government Affairs
Committee. The committee gathers information and keeps members apprised of political
and legal issues related to real estate and property ownership. In addition to
his membership in NCMAR he is also a member of the National Association of
REALTORS® (NAR) and the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS®.
He
resides in Ashburnham, where he serves on the Planning Board. Ruble is a member
of the Ash-West Rotary Club; and volunteers his time assisting at the Greater
Gardner Community Development Corporation’s First-Time Homebuyer Education
Program. In his spare time, Tom enjoys playing hockey with the Gardner Friday
Nights Men’s League and the Acadien Oldtimers.

Shellie Hammond,
Broker, GRI, ASR, CBR has joined Tom Ruble Real Estate Services of Ashburnham.
Formerly with Liberty Way Real Estate of Gardner, Shellie states that,
"Tom's commitment to providing 'old fashioned service' resonates with me.
I worked with Tom for a number of years in the past and have a lot of respect
for him. Becoming part of his team was an obvious choice."
Ms. Hammond, who
became a licensed sales person in 2001, has held a Broker's license since 2006.
She has been the recipient of the Top Producer award from North Central Massachusetts Association
of Realtors for four consecutive years, where she has served as a Regional
Director in Region A and been a member of the Professional Standards Committee.
Tom Ruble states,
"Shellie is an experienced professional and I am very excited to have her
on the Ruble Real Estate team."

For the past year, Ashburnham
Realtor, Tom Ruble of Tom Ruble Real Estate Services has been offering to
donate 5% of commission he earns on a transaction to the charity of his
client's choice, whether that client is a home buyer or seller.
Aware that agencies that rely
on government grants and donations are struggling more than ever, Tom says,
"I have the best clients in the world and I wanted to find a way to thank
them for helping me to reach my goals, while at the same time giving back to
the community as a whole."
Besides
being a licensed Broker and Realtor, Mr. Ruble is also a member of the National
Association of Realtors (NAR), The Mass Association of Realtors (MAR), the
North Central Mass. Board of Realtors (NCMAR), serving on their Government
Affairs Committee, and the Commercial and Investors Board of Realtors (CIBOR)
recently being asked to join their Education Committee.
